About Us

N & C Maintenance and Spares provide services in the supply of spares and repairs for a wide range of Water Purification Plant and Sewerage Treatment Plant Machines. Equipped with high quality infrastructure and machinery required for handling, repairing and testing of rotating electrical plant machinery, we are leaders in AC/DC Motor, Gearbox and Submersible Pump repairs.
The company was founded to build a knowledge and skills base that will see Black South Africans acquiring the means of production in Engineering and the Technical field. N & C Maintenance and Spares offer top of the art service delivery in Water Purification Plant and Sewerage Treatment Plant Machinery in South Africa.
The company is founded on principles of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment and espouses to take advantage of opportunities that exist for BBBEE compliant companies in the repair of AC/DC electric motors, water pumps e.g. (Borehole pumps, Submersible Pumps of ALL types, valves and gearboxes of ALL types) for Mine plants, Water purification plants and Sewerage plants.

Founding of company

In August 2004, two technocrats in Engineering (Sikhosiphi Shezi) and Marketing Management (Thabile Sharon Shezi) came together to form N & C Maintenance and Spares co. The company was then converted into a Privately owned (PTY Ltd) in December 2007.
Thabile Sharon holds a degree in Marketing Management. She worked for 5 years at IBM SA and for 4 years for Mondi Paper.
Sikhosiphi holds a Trade Test in Electro Motive Power, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and a Diploma in Operations Management. He worked for Transnet Ltd for 12 years as both Engineering Technician and an Operations Manager before they decided to form N & C Maintenance and Spares.

Corporate Social Responsibility

N & C Maintenance and Spares has a clearly defined Corporate Social Responsibility which seeks to give back to the Local Community. In approach, the company seek to identify talent, utilize and reward it. In doing so, the company gives young black South Africans (both male and female) opportunities to work and gain experience which can be used for future reference and is essential for both a practical and technical experience.
After delivering the service, we will offer young South Africans a package. We feel we give our communities hope for a brighter future.
